I recently completed a Capstone Project and practicum on improving access to healthy food in Oahu/ to combat obesity within the community. My work received praise and support from the Junior Chamber of Commerce, Lions International, and local stakeholders, and there are plans to implement my recommendations with the city and county of Honolulu.
I am proud to have been recognized as an "Honor Squad" member in the Advanced Infantrymen Course, where I received the "Instructors Choice" award. I also received the instructor's choice at the MACE school in Quantico, VA. The mentioned awards were due to leadership and teamwork. I also achieved a literature review while assisting with Kokua Kalihi Valley to combat obesity and had a previous experience testimony with HCAN.
Additionally, I was elected as the Director of the Cyber Lions for the 50th district Lions.
