• My first temporary placement was at Keen Distribution Center in Brooks, Ky. My job title was Order Selector. I would pick packages for customer’s orders and put them on conveyor belt to be shipped out. This position required lots of walking, climbing and bending. Also had to lift up to 50 pounds constantly. Unfortunately, that position only lasted for about a month before our contacted ended.
• My second placement was at The Hut Group in Shepherdsville, Ky. I started at The Hut Group in early November. Since I am a fast learner, I was crossed trained in several positions. I would pick or pack, work on production line and train new workers. I would work 10 hour days and overtime when available. The contract ended on 4-30-24 and I was laid off. ProLogistix is working on finding another placement for me but I do not want to take a pay cut or have to commute to Louisville.

• Company Overview: This was a warehouse that received product and shipped product on a daily basis.
• While living in Lagos, I went through training to get my certification for fork lift driver. Afterwards, I was employed by Alpha Logistics. I would use the fork lift to unload product from the trucks and transport into the warehouse. I would also transport product from the warehouse to the trucks to be distributed. I was very dedicated to my job for it would take me 3 hours in the morning to get to work due to the distance from my home and 3 hours in the evening to get back home.
• Organized warehouse design to maximize space for stock while allowing for high volume traffic zones. Utilized inventory management software to track stock levels and maintain accurate records. Identified opportunities to reduce cost and improve productivity.
