Affiliations

As a local community member not just to southern Illinois, but also Camp Ondessonk i pride myself on my desire to be commited to helping not only when asked, but when needed to volunter. As a Child i grew up in Marion, Illinois going to St Joseph Catholic Church, which led me to Camp Ondessonk from a very young age. With over 20 years of volunteer work at Camp. Also at the age of 18 i became a 3rd Degree knight with the Marion Knights of Columbus, therefore furthering my desire to help volunteer within this community of southern illinois. Over the years We have done Meals on Wheels every year on christmas morning since i was a child, we volunteer for the tootsie roll drives, many other fundraisers. As well countless projects at Camp Ondessonk, from rebuilding Brebouf, dinning hall projects, siding and roofing of campsites, painting cabins, building hay storage barn, the list goes on further than i can remember. Since i was a child Camp has instilled a wonderful love not just for nature but for the people and experiences that this place provides to all who wish to come.
