• Flew routine Cargo/Charter flights between national and international locations during all types of weather conditions, Assisting the Pilot-In-Command, monitored flight systems and completed detailed pre-flight checklists to reduce potential for safety incidents and accidents .

• Taught new-hire and Captain upgrade students about aircraft systems, procedures and other flight-related subjects in full motion flight simulators.
• Documented student activities and progress to monitor development and proactively identify any concerns.
• De-briefed students after flights to work through issues, answer questions and use teachable moments to correct serious problems.
• Flew functional check flights as directed by the air carrier's Director of Operations, Chief Pilot and Director of Maintenance.

As Aircrew Program Manager (MD-11) I was responsible for the adequacy of aircrew ground and flight training/testing and standards for specific aircraft of my assigned air carrier. My Work was performed under the general supervision of the Principal Operations Inspector (POI). I also managed programs on assigned aircraft (MD-11) including designated examiners and/or Aircrew Program Designees (APD).

As an Air Carrier Principal Inspector (Operations) I functioned as the primary operations interface between my assigned air carriers/air operators/air agencies/airmen/designees and the FAA. My responsibility was to assure that assigned organizations meet Federal Aviation Regulations with respect to operations programs and performed inspections to assure adherence to the applicable regulations.

• Monitored pilot training programs for accuracy and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Ensured that all personnel involved in aviation operations are properly trained in accordance with FAA regulations.
• Investigated air accidents to determine root cause.
• Accessed FAA databases such as EFSAS, SAS and SPAS to obtain necessary flight and regulatory information.
• Conducted oral and written examinations to test competency of aircraft operators.
