I've got plenty of experience working with others, finding solutions, and ensuring things run smoothly. I'm a hard worker who's always dedicated to doing the job right. I enjoy helping out my team and solving problems for others. Whether it's a tough or complicated situation, I'm all about working together to find the best way forward. Making a positive impact on others keeps me motivated in my work.
I worked at Athleta, which is a workout company, and I helped many people find the right clothing fit for their style. I also made sure that everyone felt comfortable in their skin. This job has taught me how to communicate really well with others and find the perfect workout clothing for them.
I have participated in many psychology labs. One was with a Brain Cap, and they measured my brain activity while playing a video game. Another lab that I participated in was a VR set, where I was also on a treadmill, and they measured all of my pulses. I have also participated in many more Labs so I could get the experience of what it's like to be a participant and see how certain labs work.
Being a babysitter has been a real eye-opener for me. It's shown me how to really connect with kids, no matter their background or abilities. I've laughed with them, comforted them through tears, and seen firsthand the rollercoaster of emotions they go through. It's made me think about maybe pursuing a career where I can help kids grow and understand themselves even better.
I worked as a hostess/server at a restaurant called Chisos. This job taught me to communicate with others, making sure that every order was correct. It also taught me how to be organized in a chaotic situation when time gets super busy.
Taco is a non-profit started by students at the University of Southern California. It aims to spread awareness and provide access to neutral, nonjudgmental science to empower college students and younger adults to make informed decisions about personal drug use. The UofA chapter seeks to do the same through educational posts, presentations, and pop-up distribution strands within the community.
Being a taco member is a fantastic experience because not only are you being informed about different substances but you're also making a difference for others and are saving lives.
