Having a high level of visibility at the street level to carry out a wide variety of tasks to improve the overall appearance of the City of West Hollywood.

• Sweep trash and litter off the street, rounded curbs full of leaves, and sidewalks. Sweep cigarette butts, litter, and spray disinfectant on trash cans on the street. Use of dustpan, broom, and 50 gallon barrel with wheels. Tie bags to line barrel for trash. Use of gloves for safety. Adhere to all traffic laws on our route. 5 to 6 routes per shift, about 1/2 to 1 mile each route.

Sweep trash of side streets on route also. Double check for litter on route.

• Performing heavy lifting and physical tasks throughout the workday.

• Responded to supervisor requests for furniture and bulky item pick-up, ensuring efficient disposal and maintaining area cleanliness.
