Training History:

1. 720: Hour Law Enforcement Academy ( Fox Valley Training Center, Appleton, WI).

2. 16 Hour: Operation R.U.S.H.- Trains officers in criminal interdiction, drug effects, drug identification, searching vehicles, search and seizure case law, current drug trends, and more. Instructor Joe Keil is one of the top interdiction instructors in Wisconsin and teaches classes nationally.

3. 16 Hour: Advanced Roadside Impaired Driving Enforcement (A.R.I.D.E.)- S.F.S.T. curriculum trains officers to identify and assess drivers suspected of being under the influence of drug impairment.

4. 100 Hour: Drug Evaluation and Classification (D.E.C.)- Included an overview of the drug evaluation procedures, expanded sessions on each drug category, drug combinations, examination of vital signs, case preparation, courtroom testimony, curriculum vitae preparation, and written examination.

5. 16 Hour: Street Smart Cop/Pro-Active Patrol Tactics- Course taught by Street Cop Founder Dennis Benigno. The course covers an extensive amount of case law that applies to Illinois. Teaches criminal behavior, proactive policing, and officer safety. The course teaches proper consent procedure, building and applying reasonable suspicion, and reaction-based enforcement.

6. 16 Hour: Interdiction Mastermind- Taught by one of the leading Highway Interdiction Experts in the county, Kenny Williams. The course covers the importance of vehicle selection for a pre-textual stop and will explain how and why he chooses specific vehicles. It also covers why criminals join criminal enterprises, common drug routes, body language, deceptive behavior, and common-sense approaches to understanding reasonable suspicion. Teaches practical demeanor and language to be utilized by officers when interacting with potential offenders.

7. Week long: National Interdiction Conference- Taught by several of the nation's top criminal interdiction experts. Classes included Passenger Vehicle Interdiction, Hidden Compartments, Commercial Vehicle Interdiction, Case Law, Money Laundering, East to West Corridors and North to South Corridors, Parcel interdiction, Traps and Concealment, Trends and Studies, and Human Trafficking.

8. Week long: Street Cop Training Conference- Taught by several of the nation's top criminal interdiction experts. Classes focus on a case law-based approach to criminal interdiction. Classes include blocks on highway interdiction, street level interdiction, parcel, and parking lot interdiction. Several blocks teach case law specific to interdiction stops.
