Captain of West Coast Elite Traveling Soccer Team
I was fortunate enough to be named Captain of my traveling team that competed in a number of tournaments - England, Spain, Germany, France - over the 2015-2019 time period. Above gaining confidence and leadership skills, traveling abroad taught me to be very adaptable and respond appropriately to new and unexpected situations. It boosted my self-awareness and problem-solving skills.
Volunteer Work
During the 2021 summer I spent with my grandparents in New Hampshire, I assisted my grandfather with food delivery from local grocery stores to food banks and homeless shelters in the Manchester area. This experience taught me excellent people skills, being friendly and courteous, during interactions with those individuals donating the food and those accepting it. We needed to pick up and deliver the food during set times and assist in packing and loading food orders in delivery vehicle, so the experience taught me great work ethic and was also extremely rewarding.
