- Work closely with the sales counter to ensure WCL, CPU, and XPW orders are picked quickly and accurately to promote great frontline customer service, with a target success rate of over 90%.
- Coordinate with the driver dispatch team to minimize driver turnaround times on the 2nd and 3rd runs. Eliminate wasted time by using dock timers and having multiple associates trained to load trucks efficiently.
- Monitor both counter replenishment levels, as well as warehouse forward-picking locations. Ensure counter replenishments are completed in a timely manner to maintain strong customer service. Identify and adjust warehouse forward-picking locations to better service our business from accuracy and efficiency standpoints.
- Use TMS/MercuryGate to coordinate and schedule LTL shipments, as well as to provide freight quotes when needed. Identify issues when using MercuryGate, and work with the TMS support group to correct LTL-related issues.
- Monitor all UPS and parcel shipments, and ensure all associates are trained and coached on best practices when packing and shipping via parcel carriers.
- Work closely with our operations group to ensure all debit memos and RGAs are shipped quickly and accurately, and make sure materials are returned according to vendor requirements. Also, work with our credits team to make sure defective or damaged items are processed when RGAs are received.
