Promoted quality and safe patient care through system and local quality initiatives, root cause analysis, regulatory surveys, and physician peer review. Revamped physician peer review process to create a culture of accountability among the medical staff utilizing Just Culture. Peer Review model designed was used to standardize other hospitals within the system. Lead Sepsis Committee and coached all clinical staff on CMS guidelines of sepsis care. Sepsis performance improved from 40th percentile to 96th percentile while I was on the project. Implemented and educated on non-invasive cardiac output monitoring.
