My name is Alexa Arrigale & I am a Sophomore Nursing Student at Bloomsburg University. I also play on the Bloomsburg Women's Soccer Team. I have had job experiences mainly in the restaurant business serving my entire work-life. During this time I was able to learn skills such as customer service, communication, and overall professionalism. Also, being apart of a college team has made me very knowledgeable on how important teamwork is. This past year I had a Med-Surg clinical rotation at Shamokin Area Community Hospital. During my clinical rotation I was able to apply the skills I had learned just in a different way, for patient care now. I had a great experience at Shamokin Hospital & learned so many new skills. I would love to become a Nurse Extern so I can apply skills I already have but always continuing to learn new skills & being educated by professionals.
