Tennis
I started tennis at Holy Child spring of 2023. I just barely got onto the JV team. When I realized I wasn't doing as well as I had liked, I began practicing more. Quickly, one day of practice a week turned into five. I practiced for months, becoming confident with my skill. Later in the fall, I tried out again, making the JV team. Still happy with my skill, I kept up the practice but added another day of it into my schedule. Coming out of fall JV tennis, I turned my six day practice into seven. I tried out for the varsity team this spring hopeful. However, I unfortunately did not make it. Yet, I will make the best of my practice time and hopefully get accepted next fall.
