Recently I was awarded my 4th expert rifle qualification in as many years, the highest level achievable. Current firearms certificate issued by the Washington State Criminal Justice Training Commission, Scoring 417/420 possible points. Physical fitness; being awarded a certificate of physical achievement by my commanding officer for being one of the most physically fit marines in my unit, scoring 291/300 points on the combat fitness test. Avid practitioner of martial arts ranging from Boxing, Muay Thai, Jujitsu, and Wrestling, also receiving my second belt promotion in the Marine Corps Martial Arts program this past fall. Extensive training in Verbal De-Escalation tactics and techniques with over 2000 hours and counting of on-the-job practical application and training. An avid reader and student of author George S Thompson's "Verbal Judo". Medically certified, receiving numerous qualifications in (Combat Lifesaver) and T.C.C.C (Tactical Combat Casualty Care). I have a strong passion for ensuring the safety and protection of citizens and my country. With a proven track record including but not limited to; locating and recovering over 30 stolen vehicles along with numerous stolen weapons. Assisting law enforcement officials in the prosecution of drug traffickers, users, sex workers, shoplifters, car thieves, and trespass violators, while also aiding in locating missing children, and wanted suspects. Working hand and hand with property managers serving eviction notices, conducting welfare checks, and providing bodyguard and personal protection services. I am a result-oriented experienced leader holding billets as a "Platoon leader" while attending Marine Combat training. Being tasked with the safety, security, accountability, and leadership of over 70 Marines. While attending my Military Occupational school, I was tasked with a similar billet as a "Guide", again ensuring the safety, security, and accountability of over 50 Marines, simultaneously taking on the responsibilities of receiving and processing every new Marine checking into the unit throughout my time. At my current unit, I am a "fireteam leader" managing 6 Marines in my area of responsibility. Recently I was promoted to a non-commissioned officer; the first Marine in my field to do so in over a decade. I strive to find solutions for difficult tasks and am an excellent team contributor with strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment. I take other individual's points of view into perspective, prioritizing the success and well-being of the team above my own. I am a very motivated and dedicated individual who if given the opportunity, will be a valuable asset to Security Services Northwest. I continue to learn and better myself as a person every single day and feel a prestigious career such as this will greatly benefit me and my future endeavors as well.
