· Administrating, shaping, formulating and enforcing sourcing plans and programs and supervising the steps that bring forth the business income, development plans and programs and trade modification aims for accountable collections
· Evaluate supplier core competencies and competitive positioning using industry cost models
· Negotiate pricing and terms with all vendors, and set guidelines so that the purchasing team has a clear understanding of purchasing parameters and processes as negotiated
· Determine and define project scope and objectives, predict resources needed to reach objectives and manage resources in an effective and efficient manner
· Lead different departments to develop forecasts for future demand and place orders in a timely fashion based upon vendor lead-time
· Manage the long-term relationships with selected key strategic suppliers to form deep, mutually benefitting partner relationships and understanding. Facilitate communication among internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers to ensure relationships are delivering their intended (and optimal) value
