  • Oversaw day-to-day operations for the Programming Dept.
  • Extensive interface between the Programming Dept. and the Sales and Marketing Dept., Traffic Dept., Production Dept., Finance Dept., Master Control, and Media Services at Encompass, and the Media Distribution Operations in Houston.
  • Help build the programming schedules in What's On and SWATR scheduling system for FanDuel Sports Network South and Southeast (formerly Bally Sports South, Bally Sports Southeast, and FOX College Sports (Atlantic, Central, and Pacific)).
  • Work well with three other employees in the Programming Dept. in the Atlanta office.
  • Communicate programming releases and programming changes to TV Listings, internal staff, our master control facility at Encompass Atlanta, and other RSNs.
  • Build formats for all pro and college games and shows for the Traffic, OAP, Copy Hub departments, and Encompass.
  • Primary contact to provide instruction and troubleshoot air issues for our master control facility at Encompass.
  • Communicate daily contingency plans to our master control operators.
  • Work with Production and Encompass for closed captioning orders.
  • Liaison between third-party clients, Production, and Encompass, ensuring show delivery via transmission and/or the digital method daily.
  • Responsible for all show acquisitions.
  • Work closely with clients and the Legal Dept. to build contracts and fully execute them.
  • Work with the Music Dept. and the Legal Dept. to ensure clients comply with the required company's and FCC standards for any music cue sheet and game footage use.
  • Responsible for information accuracy for markets (via switch schedules/SWATR) on our linear, digital channels, and our streaming services for audiences that can and/or cannot view our MLB, NBA, NHL pro products such as our team partners: Atlanta Braves, St. Louis Cardinals, Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Hawks, Charlotte Hornets, Memphis Grizzlies, Nashville Predators, and the Carolina Hurricanes.
  • Monitor Nielsen ratings report and help enter programming schedules into Nielsen Enames.
  • Attend weekly meetings with other RSN programmers, IT, Digital Content, and Encompass to obtain and share the latest information on shows, games, procedures, and software with other department heads.
  • Implement new company strategies and get creative with our resources to maximize efficiency and service.
  • Responsible for creating and submitting affidavits to Finance to bill the clients correctly.

  • Supervised ten employees in the Network Operations Dept. in the Houston office
  • Oversaw and maintained nineteen different networks' programming via Scheduall software. The latest addition was the launch of the Big Ten network on Aug. 30, 2007.
  • Coordinated the applicable information from program distribution grids to determine the actual networks riding the Distribution Networks and other regionals, along with the standardization of program titles and episodes.
  • Coordinated the dubbing of the regional networks.
  • Coordinated with the corporate programming dept. in Los Angeles along with the Sales dept. to ensure that the Houston facility is incorporating and fulfilling all sales contracts which amounts to (+/-) $60 millions annually.
  • Troubleshooted programming and transmission problems.
  • Worked with the Operations Services Director in the acquisition of remote transmissions. There are approximately 2,500 transmission feeds the dept. that are handled monthly which need to be booked, verified, and billed correctly.
  • Was responsible for sending confirmation of service orders to the various regional networks and vendors for each feed.
  • Handled dept. payroll paperwork via Citrix/Kronos system.
  • Assisted in the launch of thirteen networks in the Engineering and Operations facility in Houston.
  • Worked closely with the Closed Captioning Program Coordinator to ensure that 200,000 + hrs annually (approximately $21 millions) are being booked correctly to meet the FCC regulation that took effect as of January 1, 2006.
  • In charge and worked closely in the training process for new employees for the dept.
  • Oversaw bi-annual cross-trainings with multiple depts. within the company to gain exposure and knowledge for the employees.
  • Attended Managers Meeting weekly to provide and obtain the latest information from other department heads.
  • Was responsible for writing and implementing disciplinary measures for the department.
  • Was responsible one-on-one biannual reviews/evaluations for subordinates in the department.
