  • This included being responsible for all safety equipment related to vehicles being maintained and up to standard, overseeing and ensuring maintenance of all chainsaws and power tools was achieved correctly, guided safety meetings in the importance of correct equipment operation, and led classes on NWCG S-212 chainsaw trainings
  • Leadership roles included monitoring and addressing crew morale, bridging communication between supervisor and crew, facilitating safety meetings in a correct manor, assessing crew productivity and work ethic, coordinating volunteer events and recreational trips, advocating for crew necessities, and guiding new corps members in workplace/chainsaw operation
  • As a CCC certified driver, was tasked with safe operation of a state vehicle while in both wildland and urban environments
