Passionate gamer with Computer Science educational aspirations. I am confident I can adapt to any work environment and will happily receive constructive criticism in order to better myself in the field. I started being attracted towards video games and computers since I was 5 years old. As time passed, I expanded my game genre preferences and held some administrator positions in MMORPG and first person shooter games. Honestly, I don't have a lof of previous experience on the coding side of gaming but I am ready to learn and adapt to any positions your organization is currently seeking. I am excited to pursue this opportunity and I appreciate you taking the time to read this.
Organized personal computers that came in for repairs. Diagnosed software/hardware issues and found the most time/cost efficient way to solve the problems. Also, made decisions such as ordering certain parts or determining a unit cost is less than the parts and labor necessary to be fixed. Another part of the job was offering support to our customers and organizing the cost and the arrival of the parts in a manner that pleased the customer. In my time working at Geek Squad, I received the True Blue award which goes to show my work ethic.
My main duty was fulfilling online orders and store orders in a timely manner while working in a distribution center. I was operating a forklift and the most challenging part of the job was always trying to find ways to optimize and adapt to the required time before a trailer was due to leave. After the first 4 months, I gained my supervisor's trust and was given tasks that were more quality and time restricted. I also received a True Blue award from the distribution center which goes to show I can adapt to anything in a short amount of time.
