I am a college student who needed a job for some experience in the work field and I chose Rite Aid Pharmacy. It has had its ups and downs but all around has been a great experience. I am now just looking for something in the pharmacy realm where I can learn and grow more! My major is not Pharmacy but I've learned so much in the past 10 months working in one. I feel like having another pharmacy job would be amazing. I would be a great addition to any Pharmacy whether it's hospital or retail! I am experienced and will be able to complete the tasks I am asked of. I am a determined person who loves to learn and I find it quite fun when I can learn something new and put it to use. That's why I've grown so much working with Rite Aid these past 10 months. There is always something to do in the pharmacy which I love. It's not just counting pills which is what people think. It's the data entries that require extra brain power that people don't see. The ones where you have to calculate the day supply for Insulin or Enoxaparin or when you have to create a new patient profile or when you have to fix billing issues due to insurance or prescribers not being enrolled in Medicaid etc. I learned critical problem solving skills over the 1000+ data entries I've done. I've learned to be more patient and helpful when it comes to dealing with patients/customers. I've learned to work proficiently with my team members and pharmacists and that has made me a better person overall. I am prepared with whatever challenges face me in a new position. As a hard working and goal oriented person I want nothing less than success in my life but that does come with hardship, and that is something I am willing to get through to reach my goals. I want to end this with a quote I often think back to by Molière, "The greater the obstacle, the more glory in overcoming it". As your new Pharmacy Technician I will be determined day in and day out to not only achieve my goals, but also help the Pharmacy run smoothly and make the life of the Pharmacists easier, because every Pharmacist deserves a good tech!
