I am currently a Charge Nurse in the GI Lab at Texas Health Dallas, working in this department has given me exposure to many high acuity GI lab patients providing both inpatient and outpatient care. I have experience working as an Emergency Department RN with Texas Health’s Central Staffing Office, being an ER in the central staffing office has given me the opportunity to working within the Texas health system doing local travel allowing me to work at multiple entities making me a more well-rounded flexible ER nurse. I graduated in May 2018 with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing from The College of Our Lady of the Elms in Chicopee MA 10/18 with a 3. 99 GPA and relocated to Texas soon after. While taking classes at Elms I took part in numerous actives such as cheerleading, showing and caring for my horse, working part time at my dance studio, as well as working at Johnson Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department as a critical care technician. Upon graduation I accepted an ER RN Residency position at Texas Health Presbyterian Plano’s Emergency Department, a level II trauma Center where I finished my residency in December 2018. I have had the opportunity to strengthen my trauma and stroke assessment skills while working at Texas Health Plano. I am extremely driven and I have learned exceptional time management skills and patient care and assessment techniques which the residency has also helped refine. I love being a nurse it is not just a job to me, and I honestly feel that it is a privilege to care for others. I am hoping that with my well-rounded skills and high level of self-motivation that I could be an asset to any health care team.
