Most of my jobs over the last few years have been part-time positions that work best with my schedule. As I near the completion of my associate's degree in psychology and begin my journey toward becoming a Licensed Bachelor's Social Worker (LBSW) and a Licensed Master's Social Worker (LMSW), I am ready to seek more full-time positions that offer better opportunities. One downside to all of this is that, since I am still finishing my associate's degree, I am not able to start working until around 12:00 PM during the week due to my full-time schedule with school, while also taking classes through Fort Hays State University (FHSU), so it can be challenging to find somewhere that allows for part-time work. This next May, I will be graduating with my associate's degree, and I am hoping to find a more full-time position either this summer or starting in August. Overall, I can say for myself that I have always been a super hard worker, with every job that has come my direction. I was always one to work around 2-3 jobs at a time, and even though it can be draining, I still enjoy working when it is something that I love to do. My overall goal for myself is to find something long-term that I will always love to do, and that is the main reason I am in the Social Work major: because of all the opportunities.
