I interned with Vertical Horizons during my final term of college. I contributed a total of 360 hours working this hybrid internship. During this time, I leveraged my critical thinking skills to assist in the development of innovative programs focused on mental health, nutrition, and movement for teenagers. I used my critical thinking skills to assist in creating programs for teenagers in helping to improve their everyday life. Additionally, I played a key role in creating engaging media content for the company's website, distilling critical information for clients into simple yet informative formats. Together, my internship coordinator and I collaborated to create presentations discussing the interrelation between blood sugar, nutrition, and mental health. We effectively communicated these complex topics to a diverse audience, creating a lasting impression.
As an intern at Walk With Ease, during the summer, I gained valuable experience in designing organized flyers and multimedia content to effectively communicate to clients. This role enhanced my proficiency in navigating creative software and online platforms. I cultivated my ability to work collaboratively as well as independently, allowing me to create my own schedule. This helped me to strengthen my time management skills and prioritize meeting deadlines and additional tasks.
