A young passionate volunteer for the Royce Hurst humane society and a engaged student in high school. I've always aspired to work with animals, whether as a veterinarian or in a supportive role in animal care. Volunteering at the animal shelter has been an incredible opportunity, helping me develop essential skills that are bringing me closer to achieving my career goals. I have a load of responsibilities with my peers at the shelter and classroom; I never have been upset or uncomfortable with any tasks that came my way.
Experienced in handling and cleaning up after animals, including dealing with bodily waste. Developed strong teamwork and problem-solving skills through collaboration with colleagues. I've been able to apply these skills to effectively handle difficult tasks and clients.
Not only does my companion animal class give me high school credits and teach me grooming and animal handling skills, but also is still a educational environment. I gain knowledge in disease identification, treatment, different veterinary jobs, And proficiency in recognizing dog breed behavior traits and concerns.
