Passions
Coding/Algorithmic Trading: I have been teaching myself to Code on python with the intent to build and implement automated trading bots that trade based on a given set of parameters that automatically scan the market every minute. The objective of these bots is to outperform my current trading strategies by removing human emotion and trading strictly based on the numbers.
Quantitative Analysis: I use mathematical models to test the quality of an investment after assessing its financial health. Depending on the security or derivative I would use a range of models to asses the financial aptitude of the financial instrument. Models may include discounted cash flow, P/E Ratios, EPS, option pricing, and more.
Fitness: I believe that a strong mind is related to a strong body, and I actively lift weights 6-7 days a week and I have been doing so for the past nine years.
Additional Information
I have an incredible drive to learn and become the best of my ability and that requires being brutally honest with myself and my employers. I may not know everything I need to yet but I will ask any question to make sure I do know it. I will also be honest and admit when I do not know something as I know lying only gets you so far. I am also hungry for success and will place myself around people I believe will help me achieve my goals.
