• Customer Service Representative- I would say I around the 3 month mark of working at fry’s I got a promotion to a Customer Service Representative! It was definitely a step up it took a little while to learn because it was a lot of different things to learn! I had to learn how to print out money orders on the machine and take apart and refill the machine with paper if it ran out, along with having to learn to refill the receipt tape in the register and lottery machine! I had to learn how to use the lottery machine to cash out tickets, print new tickets, and print out winning numbers! I also learned how to do a lottery order as well as a cigarette order! I answer phones daily directing costumes to different departments, store managers, or the store secretary! I have to answer questions about the store app and other aspects while making customers happy and satisfied with the service. Also I do know how to help people send money to other countries and am very good at handling things in a computer! I have to keep things well cleaned and organized so customers are happy and satisfied with their service! I've been a Customer Service Representative a little over 2 and a half years now.

• Cashier- I started out as a cashier at fry’s around march 2024! I had to scan items and keep customers happy and satisfied so they would want to come back! We have a system that calculates how many items per minute you scanned and would calculate it at the bottom of our screens! I would occasionally have to fix the scale if it stopped working or zeroed out as we call it and I also had to clean the registers frequently and keep track of the coin machines for little change to refill it! When costumers paid with checks I had to run the check through a machine to make sure it was properly written!

• Pick Up Associate- I’m trained a little in pick up not a lot! I’m required to shop for costumers who ordered online. I have to use a zebra to scan items into the order and walk around the store with a trolley and shop orders for costumers to pick up from the store.

• Promise team lead- I’m required to make sure the associates and costumers are happy with their experience at my store. I decorate the break room on days when we have store parties and make sure people are celebrated on their birthdays and anniversary’s with the company! I have to go to meetings in person once a month and talk about how our stores are doing and what numbers our stores are at for the period! I have to keep track of all that in my binder and make sure we are meeting quotas for those numbers!

• Store Secretary Assistant- I’ve been trained as a ASP or a Store Secretary Assistant for about 3 months. I’m in charge of scheduling and printing out schedules for each department in the store! I’m also in charge of putting in peoples sick time, personal days, Leave of Absence, and FMLA. I keep track of people’s tardies, a absences, and write them up whenever they reached the required number of those things! I work closely with managers and need to make sure the managers as well as associates are all working together on the same page. I’m on the computer all the time and have to answer calls as well as emails. I sit in meetings with corporate and have to discuss ideas about the company.

• Liquor Backup- I just got training to do the liquor area at fry's. In this field I have to break down loads, organize the wines and liquor as well as stock the shelves with new and reoccurring products.

I worked at the front desk. Helping customers choose their carwash and helped with any questions or anything they needed for their specific wash.

I cleaned the bathrooms, office cubicles, as well as the kitchen and made sure all the plants were watered. Sometimes I'd have to answer the phone and send emails to clients to help them with any questions they had.

I worked on the cash register taking orders, as well as running orders and cleaning up tables. I made boxes for the bread and cut bread into slices for customers as well. I took online orders as well as answering phones and helping customers with any questions they might have.
