Alfred "Tank" Boni

My life has revolved around the Offensive line for 21 years. I played Center every single year I played football since I was 5 years old. After my playing career was over, I went and played Division II at Newberry College. There we were 4 wide majority of the time, up-tempo zone run game.

When I stopped playing due to injuries, I finished my degree at Georgia Southern while coaching at Thomas Heyward Academy for 3 years. I was the CO-OL Coach as well DL Coach. I coached from the press box while there, implementing formations and play calls that could work in the run game as well as Personnel packaging the box on Defense. In my three years there, we made the move to the RPO game offensively and went on to win 3 State Championships in a row. In those 3 years, we made a living off of Inside Zone and Out side zone, this led to having six 1K rushers in 3 years.

After year three and getting my degree as well as teaching license, I took a chance on myself and moved over to Georgia to coach Offensive Line for Coach Kyle Hockman at New Hampstead High School. For three years, I have ran the Offensive Line group for all levels here at the High School, 9th, JV as well as varsity. In those three years, New Hampstead's Offensive Line has led the way to multiple 1K rushing yard seasons, averaging 130 a game throughout these years. My big guys upfront have also protected our QB in impressive fashion as we average almost 310 passing attempts a season but have not given up more than 8 sacks in my 3 years here.

I take pride in building an Offensive Line Room. Not just a group of guys that want to play football but a group of guys that play for each other. The OL is the most important piece to the puzzle on the offensive side of the ball. If we do not perform, the offense stalls out often. My biggest strength is the zone run game and building relationships. My group of guys will "Die on their sword" every single Friday night for what we believe in as a group. They understand I am just as willing as they are when it comes to this game. Whatever it takes to win. I create a God Fearing Group that will never back down from any man that lines up in front of them.

I have Coached OL for 6 years.

3X State Champ in SC at Thomas Heyward Academy.

In 6 years {so far}, 7 have signed to play at the next level.

8 OL have been All-State in Georgia or South Carolina.

At NHHS, in 2 seasons, 6 Ol All Region Selections, 2 All-State.

All of my former lineman call me to this day. They come to my practices, my games, and call me and update me on life often. They are all life relationships.
