As a finisher

• Operated presses both manual and automated presses,
• Followed work instructions: parts inspection, by reading instructions on the order overview. Also made sure that the overview matches the current order, if not, report it immediately
• Adhered to safety protocols and procedures,
• Performed all essential tasks including bagging parts, packing, labeling.
• Cleaning work station and make sure everything was done properly before incoming shifts
• Always do a proper handoff to incoming operators to ensure the work goes smoothly ( safety, latest instructions, different issues during the process)
• Monitored scraping parts using the Tulip monitoring system by entering the number of scraping pieces ( scratches, splay, contamination etc…)
• Visually inspected parts and checked for any issues or defects/ notified Techs, coordinators or supervisors
• Attended to different monthly meetings with managers.
• Other duties as assigned ( rework, weekly and monthly cleaning)

As a Backup Coordinator

• Coordinated a team of 4 operators ensured each one followed their daily schedule
• Managed assigned cell and coordinate with techs to establish a good communication plan,
• Attended in Gemba board meeting before the start of the shift and provided informations on latest developments
• Used calipers to measure parts and ensured they were properly aligned with the correct size,
• Used CMM for accurate measurements with a machining system, put notes on fitted and unfitted parts.
• When a percentage of bad parts were found, notified the Quality Inspector for monitoring and quality purposes.
• Always do a proper handoff with the incoming coordinator
• In process check every two hours to ensure a good quality products
• Meet customers standards and requirements
• Report any non conformity to supervisor
