- Launched first brick and mortar June 1st, 2016. Wrote business plan, Creative Director of the MBH brand, designed spaces, handled project management of build out, boot strapped and made back my initial investment doing hair in under two months.
- Built a management team and initial staff which made the business a profitable success in the first year. Built the MBH business structure from the ground up and preformed duties in financial planning/accounting, marketing, staff/client management, systems and procedures, and creative direction along with all of the duties of Cosmetology.
- Maxed out space capacity of first location in year two and launched second location in year three, doubling my staff and tripling my square footage in under a year. I also handled all of the project management for build out two and creative design for the second space.
- Maintained a debt free business and retained all staff in year four during a pandemic. Our locations where closed for three months. Supported staff in navigating unemployment, pivoted with marketing to offer at home services and encourage prepaid appointments, applied for and was granted state and federal grants, implemented new Covid health,safety and business practices.
- Promoted new middle management in year five, hired new staff and added a three room office suite. Maintained a debt free business, solidified staff and new management team, and set plans for continued steady growth in year six.
