• Enhanced personal professional development by attending workshops, seminars, and conferences focused on best practices in English language teaching methodologies. Served as secretary for Delmarva ESOL Teacher's Association (2008)
• Served as an advocate for ESOL students within the school community, promoting cultural awareness and inclusivity among staff and peers.
• Supported the integration of newly-arrived immigrant students into mainstream classrooms by providing resources and guidance for both teachers and learners.
• Conducted assessments to monitor student progress and used data-driven instruction for continuous improvement of learning outcomes and language development.
• Contributed to a positive school climate by actively participating in staff meetings, committees, and collaborative initiatives aimed at improving overall student achievement.
• Currently serving on both school and county administrative school improvement and PBIS teams. Currently member of Dynamic Impact (WIT TOT) for WCPS.
