I recently graduated from UC Davis, earning a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Medical Microbiology, with a minor in Public Health Sciences. While working towards my degree, I took many lab classes that amplified my interest in research, which led to an undergraduate research position at the lab of one of my professors. This lab experience taught me many lab techniques such as PCR and gel electrophoresis, as well as gave me experience in working as part of a team in a lab environment.
