As a transfer student I have been blessed to have the opportunity to have many different jobs that require me to use critical thinking skills and understand the importance working together. My affinity for research isn't just a reflection of my intellectual pursuits; it's also a testament to my ability to connect with others, to listen, to understand, and to collaborate effectively. However as a community college student I was unable to be given many research opportunities. This position will give me the change to explore a new aspect of my education.
