Summary
Since my early teenage years I have had a strong desire to work with children, coming from being oldest cousin in a large family. An opportunity opened for me at a local church when they were expanding their child care program. During that process I had to complete various safety trainings such as Safe Sanctuaries. That following summer I worked at Camp Clarita as a Camp Counselor during the summer season. After the summer ended I applied to the Saugus school district for the After School care program. I have learned so much from these experiences and I hope to even further my knowledge on childhood development by earning my associates degree from College of the Canyons with a degree in Early Childhood Education.
