My application to UNICARE is driven by the fulfillment I experienced during my FQHC rotation, where I witnessed affordable and accessible care immediately elevate patients’ well-being no matter the age or life circumstances. I am ready to extend that same impact rooted in my hometown, the Vernon community—practicing alongside a like-minded team. This calling is driven by the unshakable work ethic my dentist family members instilled in me—a discipline and attentiveness this dynamic field demands. Mexico Medical and Dental Outreach: 

In 2021, I experienced assembly and flow of an emergency dental and medical clinic despite limited resources. Truly felt the gravity of healthcare inaccessibility.

Give Kids a Smile Community Service Project:

In 2026, I managed an operatory with two assistants. We screened children providing sealants, SDF, prophys, and dental home establishment. 

• Honoree in Health Equity in Complex Care Program: Demonstrated exceptional skill in navigating psychiatric comorbidities and social barriers to deliver care to an underserved patient with severe mental illness.
• Awarded the Pediatric Behavior Mastery Award: Demonstrated outstanding clinical adaptability and patient-centered communication in completing comprehensive dental treatment for a pediatric patient with special health care needs, ensuring equitable access to care for our most vulnerable young patients
• Elected Team Lead in the Dental-Specific Medical Emergencies Simulation Program.
• Selected as 2x Dental Urgent Care Rotation Mentor.
