I, Allen J. Christian, was born in Nashville, Tennessee, to Mr. & Mrs. Anthony J. and Kimberly Townsend-Christian. Recently I graduated from Fisk University, with a bachelor's degree in Music Education, with a concentration in Vocal Performance. Favorable, I was chosen to be a part of the World-Renowned Fisk Jubilee Singers, throughout my whole four years of enrolling, to name one of my significant accomplishments and aspirations. Currently, I am participating in a Master's program in Curriculum and Instruction at Tennessee State University. I have a passion for teaching and mentoring young musicians. My future goals are to receive my doctoral degree in Curriculum Supervision and Administration. And open up a conservatory for the young artists.

My hobbies and interests are singing and community activism. Singing is my greatest passion. I became a member of Choral Arts Links, MET Singers, a Metro Nashville Public Schools’ honor choir. Community activism is also an integral part of my life. As a teenager I was given the opportunity to work with the youth as a mentor and counselor, that experience has been embedded in my life ever since I first received an opportunity to uplift my community.
