Accomplishments
I attained the rank of Eagle Scout through the organization Scouts BSA where I planned, led, and carried out a project to solve weather infrastructure issues at a pet shelter. Eagle Scout
In addition to the many years of responsibility, planning, skill learning, and communicating required to ascend the first four ranks, the last stretch of my Eagle Scout rank was achieved with the self-planned and led Eagle Scout Project. Special Pals Pet Shelter had kennels exposed to both wind, rain, and cold/hot temperatures. My project consisted of an ergonomic solution that allowed for temperature and weather regulation throughout all seasons of the year so that animals and workers were kept safe and comfortable. This required planning, approval, careful buying of materials, the accumulation of volunteers, and a day of assembling and installing the engineered solution to the building.
