• Develop and establish Bayer Crop Science Advocacy Program for employees through content, tools/information and activating scientists/employees to socialize their science.
• Plan and execute trainings (e.g., Science Engagement Series; scienceBITES & science Behind the Issues) by working with internal and external subject matter experts.

• Worked with Seminis R&D, Bayer Regulatory Affairs and external companies like Dole to ensure stewarded products had strict requirements and processes to prevent export in unapproved areas.
• Worked with Regulatory groups to ensure the label and website was in compliance for stewarded products.
• Developed procedures for stewarded products and discontinued or "shelved" products that did not make it to market.

Quality Assurance Specialist for Laboratory, Field, and Greenhouse Studies used for Regulatory Submissions and Answering Regulator Requests.

• Reviewed/audited study methods, laboratory procedures and data to support Regulatory Sciences submissions.
• Served on Regulatory Pipeline Product Core Teams for Soybean to develop and implement processes to utilize pipeline data for regulatory study submissions and answering regulator questions.
• Lead conversations with Regulatory Scientists for corrective actions on data and reports.

Research Animal Biologist (Posilac Product Support Group) for multiple corporate-sensitive, dairy studies in collaboration with commercial dairy farms. Responsible for contract negotiations with farm owner. Results summarized in final reports and peer reviewed articles.

• Lead biologist investigational study for alternative use of Posilac, GLP Clinical Study, Posilac Formulation Study (FDA monitored, double-blind study) and several other studies accountable for training dairy employees on, managed data collection from farm employees, ensured SOP and drug label compliance, scheduled body measurements for cows, and organized sample collection for study animals. Lead the discussion with FDA had no major findings with the FDA.

Graduate School Assistantship Work

• Milked research and dairy cow herd during the A.M. shift (11PM - 10AM) along with taking classes for graduate school.
• Accountable for pre and post washings of milking equipment and milk holding tank to ensure proper temperature and sanitation.
• Observed and monitored cows for health and mammary infections while keeping on pace with milking the herd.

Internship as Health Herdsman and researcher at large commercial dairy herd.

• Monitored calf and heifer health. Examination of immunoglobin concentration in newborn calves. Implemented health preventatives and decreases calf mortality.
• Monitored body temperatures in postpartum cattle and administered non-antibiotic prophylactic treatment to improve herd health and productivity.
• Learned dairy management of newborn calves (and labor assistance), dairy production skills, herd health and nutrition for calves and cows and calves.

Veterinary Assistant at Veterinary Hospital for small and large animals working directly with the public and on farms.

• Started volunteering at age 12 until established a working permit.
• Six years of experience in a mixed practice with client interaction, intensive care unit, pre and post operative procedures, anesthesia monitoring, laboratory diagnostics, radiographs, vaccinations, large animal farm appointments, medical notation and administration of medicine.
