Most recently served as a Watch Commander for Platoons 1 and 4 consisting of approximately 30 sworn employees each and Facility Commander of the Ben Franklin Bridge.

• Worked in law enforcement since 1995 in various roles from police communications, patrol operations and patrol supervision.
• Approved personnel time entry and scheduled training for personnel.
• Developed and maintained positive relationships with the public, civilian employees, officers and supervisors on the interview committee, since 2010. In this position I participated in the interview process for hiring and promotions of dispatchers, police officers and supervisors.
• Developed and maintained a working knowledge of New Jersey, Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and federal laws and regulations.
• Prepared and reviewed reports on uses of force, discipline, commendations and payroll.
• Utilized technologies to coordinate personnel and provide optimal law enforcement services.
• Conducted criminal investigations and background investigations for candidates.

• Managed multiple different patrol squads of 5 to 12 officers at the Transit Unit and Ben Franklin Bridge on day and night shifts.

• Assisted the Sergeant and served as the Officer in Charge in the sergeant's absence managing personnel and coordinating resources for incidents.

• Responded to emergency incidents and executed appropriate action
• Utilized appropriate de-escalation techniques to diffuse potentially volatile situations
• Responded to calls for service including disturbances, disturbances and suspicious activity
• Assisted in the training of new officers

In this position, I dealt directly with the public in emergency situations. This position required taking emergency calls for service and dispatching Police, Fire and EMS.

As a police dispatcher, I served as the first line of communication for the public to access emergency services including Police, Fire and EMS.
