Scrub technician in the OR, responsible for proper sterile and aseptic techniques critical to the welfare of the patients, and setup/use of proper equipment
Maintain detailed case schedule necessary to ensure that proper equipment and supplies are readily available for procedures
Plan and prepare rooms for all procedures: transvaginal egg retrievals, hysteroscopies, dilation and curettage, fluid aspirations, cyst aspirations, embryo transfers and intrauterine inseminations
Technical skills in the care and sue of instruments, supplies, and equipment used during surgical procedure
Provide ultrasound guidance under physicians’ supervision during transfers and explain aftercare post procedure
Assist provider with HSG (Hysterosalpingogram) procedures
Pre/post procedure instructions and C-Arm use
Ensure orders for lab work and lab specimens are labeled correctly and sent to proper lab(s)
Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations
