My main focus for this position is to care for boarding animals, but I also have training surgery assistant and tech assistant positions.

This includes:

• Holding patients in different positions for procedures such as exams and blood draws
• Assisting surgeries (taking vitals and monitoring patients)
• Patient post op care
• Taking TPRs on inpatient pets
• Cleaning and sanitizing surgery equipment and preparing for upcoming procedures
• Stocking hospital materials and maintaining cleanliness of treatment and surgery areas
• Responding to emergency situations in a timely manner while following safety protocols
• Performing anal gland expression when needed

Boarding/daycare duties include:

• Walking dogs individually and supervising dog play groups

• Assisting suite attendants with food and drink orders
