Allison Braughton

I am a straight A student who's passion is to become a music educator. While I demonstrate efficiency and intelligence, kindness and compassion are two of my top priorities. I work well with others, am a fast learner, and I strive to do everything I can to the best of my abilities.

• Marching, concert, pep, and jazz bands.
• Vocal ensemble and the school musical.
• Private lessons - piano, french horn, and vocal.

• Through vocal ensemble, I auditioned and was accepted into All-State in 2023.
• Through the school musical, I auditioned and was cast for principal roles the past three years.
• Through concert band, I auditioned for and was accepted into the Bluegrass Honor Band in 2023 and 2024.
• In marching band, I applied and was interviewed for Drum Major and was selected to become Brass Section Leader, as a part of the Student Leadership Team.
  

I plan to attend college at the University of Kentucky and earn a Master's degree in Music Education with an emphasis in both brasswinds and vocals. I want to teach at the middle or high school level while I work on my doctorate, and then become a college professor and open my own Fine Arts studio.
