COMMUNITY SERVICE & ACCOMPLISHMENTS


  • 1993 I established the Alma Randolph Charitable Foundation with a mission to clothe disadvantaged children with new clothes, schools and coats. In 2016, the ARCF's mission was expanded to also upgrade the living conditions of disadvantaged families. Since the inception of the ARCF over 17,000 have been clothed, and 64 homes have been upgraded.
  • 1989 Inducted as one of the first three women admitted to the Rotary Club, and the first African American admitted
  • 1981 Elected to the Beaver Dam City Council being the youngest and the first female elected to the council, and the first African American to be elected to public office in Ohio County, Kentucky.
