Albert Medina has been a paramedic for 21 years, 19 of which have been with the Chicago Fire Department (CFD). As a Paramedic Officer, coordinated the development, scheduling, and execution of all training in the Simulation Training Center (STC). Serves as lead educator for CFD’s incident command for cardiac arrest (ICCA) class. Acted as a preceptor for Chicago’s emergency medical system and reviewed cardiac calls to determine patient care gaps. Coordinates, assess, and trains members and new candidates. Dedicated and focused on training and educating members on CFD’s mobile sim lab (MSL).
