  • Recruited approximately 65 volunteers from units throughout the Louisiana Army National Guard to fill the 792nd Chemical Company, the first Chemical Company in the state of Louisiana
  • Responsible for all training, safety, security, and discipline of all service members ensuring the unit’s overall success to meet all objectives tasked to the company
  • Ensures all DECON unit personnel meet ITRM requirements, while working towards the end goal of 90% of personnel being 100% certified prior to External Evaluations

  • Managing the safeguarding of information, personnel, property, assets, and/or material from theft, loss, misuse, fraud, disclosure, espionage, sabotage, or terrorism
  • Providing oversight for vulnerability threat assessments and security protection to critical infrastructure of national interest: national defense, national security, or national resource protection
  • Improved the data collection process requested by Department of Homeland Security (DHS) by ensuring stakeholders throughout Louisiana become more involved
  • Increased the Special Events Data Call submission to DHS from 18 parishes to over 60
  • Created the criteria to prioritize Critical Infrastructure in Louisiana, bridging the gap between the DHS’s federal criteria and making the states criteria more obtainable
  • Increased the number of identified Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR) for the State of Louisiana from 2500 assets to over 8000.

  • Coordinated the long-term planning and training of approximately 208 National Guardsmen and Airmen assigned to the 61st CERFP
  • Worked to ensure that each unit achieved the end goal of 90% of personnel being 100% certified prior to External Evaluations, a National Guard Bureau (NGB) requirement for all CERFP’s
  • Created long range calendars to track all training events up to 18 months out to ensure all events were accurately planned and coordinated
  • Coordinated the transfer of over 3000 pieces of equipment from a unit being deactivated to units throughout Louisiana, as well as multiple units throughout the United States.

  • Utilized a small team of five military intelligence Soldiers to identify resources, equipment, and training shortfalls needed to develop a Syrian Partner Force capable of protecting and defending themselves
  • Worked directly with Special Operations Joint Task Force – Levant (SOJTF-L) to provide the Partner Force with over $10 million dollars in equipment, to include 1000 weapon systems, 25 military vehicles, 45 civilian vehicles, 1.2 million rounds of ammunition, and medical supplies to outfit over 3,000 soldiers
  • Fostered lasting partnerships between the host nation and the United States Military, setting up our replacements in Iraq for future success.

Diplomatic Aircraft Clearance Officer-in-Charge

  • Led a small team of five in the coordination of obtaining approval of all United States Military Forces flying into the country of Iraq
  • Approved over 40 flights a day, for an average of 1000 flights a month, allowing for the successful delivery of over $100 million in equipment, weapons systems, and United States Servicemen to incoming units in Iraq
  • Represented the United States in a diplomatic capacity, meeting with counterparts from other countries, as well as officials within the Government of Iraq
  • Standardized the Diplomatic Aircraft Clearance process between the United States, France, Canada, Australia, Denmark, Norway, and the United Kingdom
  • Created the Standard Operating Procedures for day-to-day operations to ensure an efficient working cycle.
