  • Performed all job duties regarding automotive and truck collision repair.
  • As the company grew, staffing also did, while maintaining and supervising an average of 10-13 employees.
  • Tasks of training all new employees, technical and administrative.
  • Technicians were trained in Structural repair (straightening frames and unibody vehicles), fitment of replacement parts, and final body repair procedures. Proper preparation for the refinish process to provide the necessary application for various refinishing products, as well as Mechanical repairs performed related to collision damage.
  • Office employees consisted of parts department, physical damage estimators, office and clerical, insurance specialists, and a general bookkeeper.
  • All technicians were cross-trained in all facets of physical damage repair, including frame, body, and refinish processes.
  • Detail department was trained from general wash, wax, interior detail to Color sanding, final paint correction, and final coating applications such a poly finishes and ceramic coatings.

Accomplishments

  • The Biggest accomplishment in my life is the ability to turn a vision into a career. Purchasing vacant property. Located on the north side of Mauston, WI. State Road 58 in 1995.
  • Building and nurturing a business in the automotive industry through the ups and downs of our economy for the last 28 years was quite an undertaking.
  • With tenacity and sheer dedication, commitment to deny failure made it possible to persevere through growing pains. My staff and I brought A.T.H. Collision Repair LLC into the largest volume auto collision repair facility in a three-county area.
  • This was made possible by employees who learned the correct current repair and refinish procedures in this industry. This dedication provided them with a flourishing career and, for many, a comfortable retirement.
  • Being a part of this small community and providing a service to customers and employees alike made the efforts worth every early morning, late hour, and many 7-day work week a reward.

I attended WWTI in the Technical trade of Metal Fabrication, earning a Journeyman certification. New and Used Automotive Sales and Collision Repair industry. Licensed in the State of Wisconsin as a Wholesale and Retail Automotive dealer.
