Extreme Teen Leaders offers a range of online programs tailored to support teens and give them the key social and emotional skills they need to succeed in school and in life.

• Grew personally by sharing painful memories and secrets in cathartic exercises with a group of 20 teenagers.
• Demonstrating effective communication, articulating ideas confidently has a positive impact on both individual and group settings.
• Applied the tools acquired during the program to lead my peers through exercises that catered to different learning styles, including visual, auditory, and kinesthetic approaches.

All Star Code is a nonprofit computer science education organization focused on motivated Black and Latino young men. Few organizations prepare this underserved group for careers in the innovation economy. Our ultimate goal is to close the wealth, income and opportunity gaps.

• Learned the basics of the Windows Command Prompt and worked with platforms such as GitHub and VS Code.
• Learned programming languages HTML, CSS, and JavaScript through daily presentation-style lectures and hands-on exercises.
• Participated in STEM-related field trips downtown and had guest speakers on-site each week.
• Utilized LinkedIn to expand professional network, connecting with guest speakers in various tech fields, from prototype headphone developers to representatives at Microsoft.
