Teen Night Coordinator

Acted as liaison between student body and adult staff, including parents and professional staff. Attended monthly meetings with Co op directors to bring up student concerns and present activity ideas.
Organized and led efforts to hold first ever Koinonia Co-op student prom. This included fundraising, (raising nearly $1900) venue research and booking, working with professionals to hire photographer and DJ, running a budget to include decorations and food, and implementing subcommittee to set up, decorate and tear down. Also elicited adult chaperone help.
Created co-op sprit days to rally excitement and co-op participation through themed days including Retro Day, Co-op Colors Day and PJ Day which included organizing and running a hot chocolate bar.
Gained experience in public speaking by giving weekly announcements to the student body during morning time to publicize upcoming events and request feedback from the students themselves.
