The responsibilities of being a Nebraska State Patrol dispatcher include constant multi-tasking with operating and monitoring multi-channel radios while utilizing Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD). Monitoring and responding to messages on main state terminal for teletype system. Utilizing various computer databases such as NCJIS, Lincoln police department database, Omaha police department database, and verifying documentations on Omnixx force. Fielding telephone communications to collect and disseminate critical information to and from law enforcement officers and other public safety workers. Communicate and assist citizens in routine and emergency situations.

Fielded phone calls regarding Criminal History background checks. Initiated data entries of applicant’s information for permits into Nebraska State Patrol’s administrative system - Record Information Tracking System (RITS). Received requests and fees for criminal histories in person and via fax and mail. Updated RITS and NIS systems with funds received while providing services to citizens in a professional capacity. Documentation of services provided were distributed to proper recipients.

Personally welcomed all guests and allocate clean rooms to correct guests. Assisted guests in choosing the correct packages for their preferred experience. Sanitized and maintained twenty rooms to acceptable industry standards. Answered any inquiries and needs of potential guests on phone. Maintained checks and balances at point of sale with high level of accuracy
