Academic Project Experience

Undergraduate Capstone Project- Spring 2023

  • Performed a comprehensive literature review on the associated health impacts of Ultrafine Particulate Matter (UFP) air pollutants.
  • Evaluated published data from the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation on air pollutant exposure in an Albany housing facility.
  • Replicated air pollutant exposure graph via SAS with added data points showing exposure levels with associated health risks.
  • Created an informational brochure for those living within the housing facility regarding the exposure risks of UFPs to inspire advocacy from within the community for improved pollutant regulations.

Community Service Experience- Fall 2021 - Spring 2022

  • Assisted in organizing COVID-19 vaccination clinics offering services to those in medically underserved communities in Albany, including patient outreach to schedule appointments.
