Alyssa Freie

I currently work as a caregiver with elderly patients who have dementia or memory care problems. I assist with cooking, cleaning, organizing, ADLs, laundry, entertainment/activities, and building relationships with my coworkers and residents at the home. I have enjoyed getting to know each resident personally and making them comfortable at this stage in life.

I worked as a sterilization tech as a summer job while home for the summer in CO. I learned how to clean and sterilize dental instruments, assist hygienists and dental assistants as needed, helped with preparation and breakdown procedures in the exam rooms, learned to adhere to OSHA guidelines, and enhance my skills in the medical field.

As a receptionist at a hair salon, I had the opportunity to schedule appointments, greet clients at the door, make confirmation calls, and do simple housekeeping chores around the salon such as laundry and cleaning up after the stylists. This position gave me experience working with the public and enhancing my communication skills.
