Since I can remember, I've always wanted to work in medicine. When I joined high school, I discovered my passion for science and the advances it has brought to society. To reach my ambitions of majoring in biology at a rigorous four-year university, I have taken numerous advanced placement classes in science and other areas. In addition, I am actively involved in clubs, athletics, work, and volunteering. I intend to volunteer at the UVA hospital in order to broaden my understanding of the medical field and position myself for success. Learning more about the medical field through hands on experience will not only help me grow in the work place, but the classroom as well.
