Affiliations

  • Talk with local elementary school students in both Gulfport, MS and Bellmore, NY about my experience and time in the military.
  • Assist my community in the planning and set up of their annual Family Street Festival that draws a crowd of over 20,000 people.
  • Volunteer at the Mississippi Aquarium in Gulfport, MS where I greet guests as they enter the aquarium, educate patrons as they come to view different attractions and interact with the animals.
  • Mentored apprentice builders by assisting them with their training and schoolwork after working hours, by holding group study sessions for them to practice equations and better learn material and basic carpentry skills they are being taught in the workshops on base.
  • Perform lake clean ups at local preserves, such as Twin Lakes in Wantagh, NY and remove over 25 lbs of debris and trash from the waterways.
  • Member of the Gulfport Historical Society that aids in the engagement of the community in connection to the towns rich history. Currently heading a historic cemetery revitalization project that has been estimated at 15,000 dollars that will be starting the end of 2025.
